#1 Meeting Notes โ Ministry of Industry
ERP Architecture Discussion & Collaboration Roadmap | December 2025
1. Presentation Outcome
Benoรฎt presented the proposal and the Ministry agreed with the vision.
Their internal discussions on ERP architecture align with what was presented:
- Multi-instance architecture
- Redundancy with Load Balancing
- RDS (Relational Database Service)
- Redis caching
- API Gateways
- Kubernetes clusters
2. Infrastructure Options
โ ๏ธ Critical Decision Pending: Hosting strategy is still undecided
Three possible hosting strategies under consideration:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Option 1 | Within the Ministry of Telecommunication's datacenter |
| Option 2 | Building their own datacenter |
| Option 3 | Renting capacity from larger providers |
3. Drivers & Needs
Scale & Scope
- Massive scope โ Much of the work is not yet digitalized
- Many services to cover: Big manufacturing cities, licensing for ports, industrial machines, multiple sectors
- Infrastructure must be robust to accommodate this scale
๐ก Recommendation: They must also adopt a functional approach to define specifications in terms of services delivered to the public.
โ
Proposed: Workshops to review and draft specifications for each sector โ opening for collaboration even before the formal project begins.
4. Next Steps โ Recommended Approach
The Ministry asked: "What are the steps to set this up?"
Phase 1: Preparation
| # | Action | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Organize expert groups | Collect domain knowledge from each sector |
| 2 | Form a driving committee | Prioritize and make decisions |
| 3 | Collaborate with a partner | Design technical solutions |
| 4 | Appoint a project manager | Consolidate documents, workflows, and tasks |
Phase 2: Implementation
- Plan deployment once specifications & design are ready
- Use iterative CI/CD cycles for continuous delivery
Phase 3: Ongoing Operations
Establish two permanent teams:
| Team | Responsibility |
|---|---|
| Support Team | Handle day-to-day operations and user support |
| Improvement Team | Continuous evolution and feature development |
5. Early Collaboration โ Our Role
The Ministry asked how we could work together in the early phase. Our proposed approach:
| # | Deliverable | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Project Management System | Provide tools for tracking and coordination |
| 2 | Needs Review & Gap Analysis | Help review needs and build specifications |
| 3 | Roadmap & Technical Setup | Define the implementation roadmap |
| 4 | Implementation Support | Implement together (or with other partners) |
6. Additional Points from Discussion
- They are interested in starting with consulting to see how it develops
- They will add us on WhatsApp to continue the discussion
- Suggested sending them a recap of the meeting and possible next steps
- They want to move as fast as possible
- Strategy: Start with one sector, then expand
- The implementation offer should follow after consulting
